More Timely and Accurate Data Informs Critical Decision-making
The current ability to accurately forecast storms and determine the weather in remote areas is severity is limited by data collection frequency and analysis times. This session will highlight the importance of frequent observations of Earth weather and atmospheric conditions that can be achieved through satellite-based sensors. Progress being made in speeding the alignment, validation and analysis of disparate datasets compiled from both terrestrial and satellite-based observation sensors will also be discussed.
