“FLOOD PROTECTION MEASURES” - When, Where, and How
Dry floodproofing has evolved from sandbags, and plywood. The systems available to protect critical infrastructure have become more robust, easier to maintain, and faster to deploy. This seminar will examine the critical requirements, such as flood elevation and impact loads, which typically defines the flood mitigation solution required for a site. Other considerations such as life cycle costs, ease of deployment, and acquisition costs will also be discussed.
