Be Prepared, Be Ready in 10 Steps Only - Action!

May you live in interesting times, says an old Chinese curse. And we actually live in such times. Threats, disasters and sudden emergencies are an integral part of our everyday life and cause fear and uncertainty. If you are prepared for such situations, you will not panic, but will take action to protect yourself and your loved ones. Lets start with me, your first 10 steps to be prepare, to be ready for any disasters.

Agnieszka, since 2014, works on disaster risk reduction and building society's resilience to threats.
In 2020 created a unique portal www.gotowi.org with a compendium of knowledge about threats and how to prepare for any disasters. Since 2020, as Gotowi.org, organizing the International Disaster Risk Reduction Day in Poland every year (we reached 1.2 million children and youth). From 2021 created education programs named Readiness Workshops and Safety First, on building resilience on disasters in schools, local communities and governments. She created and produces Emergency Backpacks 17, equipped for 72hrs after disaster happen (www.the17bag.com). Agnieszka Kordalewska works with UNDRR as the member of the advisory group on disaster risk reduction and climate changes. Since January 2024 she is the Co-Focal Point of UNDRR SEM NGO’s Major Group.
