Aimo Kõva is a Business Development Manager at AS Datel with a strong background in the ICT sector and project management. His experience spans more than a decade in these fields.
Aimo is involved with the development of SILLE.Space, an innovative satellite-based service for monitoring infrastructure deformation. This service operates using satellite data to detect damages caused by underground digging, faulty constructions, or natural disasters. It can detect the sinking or rising of buildings and other large infrastructural objects with high precision. This early prevention system is based on data from the European Union’s satellite Sentinel-1 and is vital for monitoring critical infrastructure, especially in areas prone to natural disasters like storms, floods, or earthquakes. AS Datel''s collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA), as well as Estonian and international universities, has been integral in the development of SILLE.Space, underscoring the company''s commitment to innovative solutions in the space domain.
