About Ezgi Sendil

Ezgi is a co-founder of Quakecom, a startup dedicated to advancing post-disaster management solutions. As a civil engineer, she further possesses graduate degrees in both software and earthquake engineering at Bogazici University. Her research interests lie in the application of machine learning (ML) for disaster management and the optimization of natural disaster response and management within smart city frameworks. She brings nearly seven years of experience in construction sector digitalization, gained through both her own entrepreneurial venture and collaborations with established industry firms. She leverages this experience to bridge the gap between construction practices and disaster management, with a focus on building resilience in smart cities.
