About Jacob Bossaer

Jacob Bossaer, the youngest twin in a family of seven, spent a year volunteering in Costa Rica at 18. He financed his education, including two master''s degrees in chemical engineering at Ghent University, by working as a bouncer. After university, he became a Water Expedition Engineer at the Princess Elisabeth Antarctica station and worked with leading chemical companies like Dow Chemical and BASF.
In 2017, Jacob co-founded BOSAQ with Pieter Derboven, focusing on sustainable water solutions globally. Additionally, they started Water Heroes, a non-profit providing essential drinking water technology in areas of need, including Ukraine. Jacob also established Water Experts, a consultancy in water engineering. His contributions to water sustainability have led to significant international projects and honours, such as the Royal Laureate of Labour and inclusion in Belgium''s 40 under 40 list, recognizing his impact and achievements in the field.
