Shoichi Tabushi is a Programme Specialist of UNESCO and leads UNESCO’s work on Disaster Risk Reduction. Before joining the UNESCO in 2022, Shoichi has worked for the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan for more than 15 years, developing polices on building safety, seismic code and urban planning.
